Afternoon tea at The Grill Room is something of an institution, with a selection of fine cakes, scones and sandwiches to choose from accompanied by the drink of your choice, be it tea, coffee or even champagne. Dinner, meanwhile, is a wonderful affair, with an inspired selection of Scottish dishes, delicately cooked to bring out all the natural goodness within them. I came here at the weekend with my family as our Christmas meal and it was just magical. The decorations were really spectacular. We were taken to our table by a very friendly gentleman, and waited on hand and foot by the waiting staff and nothing was too much hassle. They were very friendly. It was like a stage production. As soon as we were seated the wine waiter came to our table and promptly poured our drinks. Followed by the food orders being taken and our food all arriving at once. The food was out of this world. The best food I think I have actually had. I would highly recommend and I am definitely going back. Thank you for making the evening one to remember forever.
